What an amazing night it was at Will Rogers Title One Literacy Night on 10/10/23! We had an incredible turnout with 144 parents signing in to show their support for their children's education. Here's a glimpse of the fantastic evening:
Title One Teacher Talks: Our dedicated Title One teachers shared valuable insights with parents, discussing how they can actively support their child's learning journey at home. Education is a collaborative effort, and these discussions were incredibly informative.
Classroom Conversations: Parents had the opportunity to visit their child's classrooms, where teachers provided personalized guidance on how to best help their child excel in their studies. These interactions are key to a student's success!
Student Performances: The highlight of the evening was the outstanding performances by our talented students. Their enthusiasm and skills shone brightly, showcasing the amazing talent within our school community.

Did you know that every morning, our incredible AMS Pom team is hard at work, practicing their moves at 6:30 AM? They're the early birds of the school, along with our AMAZING cafeteria and janitorial staff!!
Yesterday, we witnessed a heartwarming moment as our dedicated cafeteria staff surprised our October birthday students with a delightful celebration! 🎂🧁🎉 They brought out a scrumptious cake, cupcakes, and even sang a sweet birthday song. 🎶

Over the weekend Ardmore Theatre presented their one act play, The Empty Chair, for OSSAA One Act Regional competition. They did fantastic and told a beautiful story of loss and recovery. Today students got a taste of life beyond high school in this real-world Game of Life based on the popular board game.
Students got a career, salary, and family to provide for. Along the way, they encountered expenses like housing, health, cars, and insurance. They are learning to juggle their wants and needs to ensure they do not exceed their monthly budget.
By the end of the game, they will have learned how career choices can impact a person's lifestyle and bank account!
