💥Junior High State Powerlifting meet was today at El Reno. These kids fought hard and were the top 20 kids in each weight class across the state.💥 🥇Ardmore has another STATE CHAMPION in Evan Dieker in 8th grade 105 class. Congrats to this young man for working hard and accomplishing this feat. Brady Strader placed fourth in the 114 8th grade class. Really proud of this young man for competing and never complaining about anything. Can’t wait for next year for him. 💥Nathaniel Guzman - 13th in 157 class 💥Jonathan Spears - 20th in 157 class 💥Andy Nguyen - 17th in 145 class

What a season for our boys powerlifting team! 🔥 It was a long but exciting ride filled with hard work and heart. The team earned runner-up finishes at a couple of meets and gave it their all with eyes set on regionals and state. That effort and determination didn’t go unnoticed! We had seven athletes qualify and compete at the Oklahoma State Powerlifting Meet, facing off against the top 25 lifters in each weight class: 🔥JaMarion Payne 🔥Jax Birth 🔥Daemon Cohee 🔥 Kylen Haskins 🔥Noa Seals 🔥 Killian Bridges 🔥 Benson Le A big shoutout to Benson Le for medaling with a 5th Place finish in the 275 lb weight class at the large school state meet! 🏅 We also had several lifters place in the top 15 statewide! Daylee was awarded a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of her exceptional talent, leadership, and dedication to music. Daylee has been playing viola for just five years—but she’s already made a huge impact! As Viola Section Leader for Ardmore High School Orchestra, she earned an "Excellent" rating at the OSSAA District Solo & Ensemble Contest and regularly shares her talents at school and community events. Even more inspiring: Daylee began playing during the height of the pandemic as a virtual learner, showing resilience, self-discipline, and passion for the arts from day one.
